ShiftCurve started with a hypothesis: AI could fundamentally change how businesses operate - not just their marketing, but their entire delivery model. We proved it by building AI-powered systems for our own operations first. Document intelligence, CRM platforms, automated workflows - all running in production before we offered them to anyone else. Now we build the same systems for NZ businesses who know AI can help but cannot industrialise it themselves.

Origin

The origin story.

It started with a hypothesis: AI could fundamentally change how professional services firms operate - not just their marketing, but their entire delivery model.

We tested it on Bilimoria Consulting, a town planning consultancy. In 5 days we built a Next.js website that replaced an underperforming Wix site. Month one: 6 conversions, 4.19% CTR, $68.84 cost per conversion. Then we automated their document pipeline - AI-drafted council submissions, feasibility assessments, and client reports that used to take weeks, delivered in hours.

That proven delivery model became the foundation: Document Intelligence, Custom Platforms, and Digital Presence. All running in production. All generating revenue.

Then we built a purpose-designed CRM for the same firm - 14+ database tables, GIS integration across 5 councils, RMA milestone tracking, fee proposal generation. Phase 3 of 5 complete. Real users, real data, iterating weekly.

The pattern was clear: one senior professional backed by AI architecture could deliver what traditionally requires a team. The same model scales from a solo practitioner to enterprise.
